“When is the right time to swear”
Do you know when it  is a good time to swear? I believe that there is never a good time. Swearing is disrespectful to other people around you. People swear when they get angry, have an argument or just say it for fun. Swearing in public isn’t a very good idea because in a small town outside Boston in the U.S are banning it and so if you get caught swearing it would be a $20 fine.

To me swearing in public is bad. When you swear in public it puts your family to shame like it makes other people think that  your parents didn’t teach you well.

A Tragic Death

A man called Alexander Dale Oen was only 26 when he passed away  His death was caused by  a cardiac arrest. He collapsed on his bathroom floor and people tried to revive using CPR (Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation). You can likely have a cardiac arrest even when you are young adult . Mr Oen was a really fit man who was also a really great swimmer.

Aneisha camp for 2012.

Three days at camp for me was exciting. Walking to school in the morning it was raining hard. I entered the school I looked straight ahead to see my friend Emilee, I dropped my bag at the entrance of the breeze because i didn’t want to walk in. Waiting and waiting outside the breeze I finally picked up my bag and walked in. I walked in the hall and asked Mrs Lagitupu what group i was in, She responded with “Respect Squad”. I put my bag down and left.

Our first activity was to practice our item, the time we had to practice our item we found our song and did a little bit of the actions. Then we started our next activity and that was Boxfit, Selina Lavaka was the best girl Boxer in our team. Nearly to the end of day one the teachers called our group to put up our tents, I think our group was the only group that didn’t put up our tents. Our first day finally came to a end after we had movie night.

Our movie was about Ben Carson and when he was growing up to be a Doctor.

Netball Session's

“LISTEN” as our coach yelled out! Standing there I looked at my class mates and everyone was mucking around. As we finally calmed ourselves down our coach carried on talking. As we finally found our coaches name we began our session. Our coaches name was Liz and she helped us improve our skills.

When our skills was finally over it was GAME time. Splitting up into groups of 4 we made our way to the court. Comparing our team to the other’s they were saying we have a 50/50 chance to win. When the whistle blew the ball flew down the court like a bird flying through the air. As it traveled down the court it soon reached the goal and again and again until the game was over. It was a really competitive game.

Health+ Me=?

This term , in Maths , we are learning about statistics. As part of our learning we are examining data related to our health. The first part of our examination we collected data (information) about the food we ate for a week (2/2 to 9/2).

The graph ( or chart) shows how much I ate from six major food groups.

Treaty

In room 19 we have been studying about the Treaty of Waitangi. The Treaty was signed on the 6th of February 1840, it was so that we can have peace between the Maori's and the Europeans. William Hobson signed the Treaty on behalf of queen, and 34 chiefs signed it for the Maori's. Some Maori chiefs didn't agree with the Treaty so they decided to not sign it.

First day of school.

Making my way to the front gate of the school my friends meet me half way. Standing in the rain I turned around and saw my little sister there in the rain. As I walk away my friends follow me to the street. Lining up in our class from last year made me think back of all the memories. Walking in the hall seeing all those people sitting down was a change, without the Yr 8's from last year it was empty and quiet. Hearing Mr Burt introduce himself I look around to see most of the Yr 8's from last year here. Like last year the Yr 7/8's make there way back to the street to get put into there new class, silently sitting there on the cold ground I close my eyes then suddenly I hear my get called out to be in Mr Harris class. Meeting new friends was a bit cool finding out what school they traveled from and how old they were. We got several new kids at our school this year meeting Helen this new girl in our class was funny. Funny I don't know why but I haven't meet new friends at school in ages. Since it was nearly Waitangi day we studied how the Treaty was signed and who signed it.

Finally morning tea, TIME to catch up with my friends.
